This is the name of the book and the lecture featured this Saturday at the wonderful Architectural Heritage Center on SE Grand. Bill Hawkins, one of it's authors, will take you on a visual tour of some of the 300 residences in this must have book for those seriously interested in the architecture of Portland. Bill will share his knowledge of the original owners and history of these classic homes, many of which are still standing today.
